Return/Exchange/Refund Policy TLDR:

We stand behind the quality of our products and guarantee our workmanship 100%. Any defects or errors - on our part - will result in a replacement at no charge.

We can't offer returns for buyer’s remorse. Please double check sizing charts available on every product page.

Our return policy is as follows:

  1. All items are final sale (unless defective). All products sold are made to order and/or personalized, so exchanges or returns for 'buyer's remorse’, size/color exchanges, etc. are not possible.
  2. If the item is damaged, mislabeled, or the wrong item, the customer can request a replacement, at no cost, within 30 days after receiving the product. There is no need to return the defective item.
  3. Refunds are only offered if the customer received the wrong or damaged item and a replacement cannot be provided.
  4. Size charts and measuring guides are available on each product page to ensure customers order the correct size/color. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Please use them.
  5. Exchanges for different sizes/colors are not possible due to the made-to-order nature of the products. However, if an item is mislabeled or misprinted, a new one will be sent at no cost to you. There is no need to return the defective item.
  6. The customer is responsible for contacting the store within 30 days after receiving the product to resolve any issues with defective items.
  7. The store is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments - after delivery by the shipping carrier - and/or for deliveries marked "delivered" by the carrier. Customers need to file their claims with the carrier for such issues.

    Wrong Address: If you provide an incorrect shipping address and the shipment is returned, you’ll be responsible for reshipment costs. We recommend double-checking your address at checkout to avoid delays and additional costs. We’ll reach out to confirm or update your address before resending.

    ** If you notice you've entered the wrong address, simply drop us an email. If it's within a reasonable timeframe (48hrs-ish), we can usually take care of any change. If the order has already gone into production or shipped, we can't guarantee a change can be made - but we'll try our best.

    Unclaimed Orders: If your order goes unclaimed and is returned to us, a reshipment fee will apply. We’ll contact you to arrange redelivery if this happens.

At TheBlackest Co., we create every product we sell with love and care for you, sort of like baking a birthday cake! Like a cake, since each item is made to order, especially for you, because of this process, we can't offer returns or exchanges for 'buyer's remorse.' We don’t restock product and we don’t resell items. This helps us reduce waste, which is a real problem in the fashion industry. (*2023 - In America alone, an estimated 11.3 million tons of textile waste – equivalent to 85% of all textiles – end up in landfills on a yearly basis!)

But don't worry, we've got you covered if there's any mistake on our end! In the rare case of a mislabeled item, let us know within 30 days, and we'll send you a new one without any extra cost. In most cases, there is no need to send back the defective item.

If you happen to receive a damaged or wrong item, reach out to us at contact@theblackestco.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Make sure to include your order number and clear photos of the issue, and we'll get right on it. We'll either replace the item - at no cost - or provide a refund if somehow we can't. In any case, just contact us, and we'll sort things out.

Remember, all claims must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the product, so don't wait!


Now, about lost or stolen shipments, we understand it's extremely frustrating, but once the package is marked "delivered" by the carrier, it becomes your property and your responsibility. You'll need to contact the shipping carrier directly to file any claims - the tracking info is on the shipping confirmation email. They won’t release any information to us at that point. But, if your package goes missing during transit, we're here to help you investigate the issue and find a solution.


Lastly, keep in mind that most coupon codes and discounts can't be combined on orders, and once your order is placed, we can't make changes based on discovered coupons or discounts. But don't worry, you can save that discount code for your next TheBlackest Co. purchase!

This *proof of delivery* - direct from the shipping carrier - is usually all that is needed to prove we held up our end.


Before considering a chargeback, please be aware of the following:


1. Open Communication: Contact us first. Many issues can be quickly resolved through direct communication. While we can't access your private data with the shipping carriers (once delivered) - we've handled enough shipping issues to know what you should try.

2. Filing a Claim with the Carrier: If your package is missing, one of the steps we recommend is filing a missing package claim directly with the shipping carrier. While we do not control the carrier’s processes, we can assist you in initiating this claim. Please be aware that carriers may direct you to contact us, but due to privacy laws and their reluctance to share information once a package has been marked “delivered,” we often cannot be of further assistance. It is essential to pursue the claim directly with the carrier.

3. Chargeback Consequences: Initiating a chargeback should be a last resort. Not only are they financially devastating for small businesses, losing a chargeback dispute can lead to several consequences for the customer, including potential fees from your bank, a negative impact on your credit score, and the possibility of being blacklisted from future purchases. Frequent chargebacks can also harm your relationship with your financial institution.
