The Incredable History!

The Harlem Hellfighters, officially known as the 369th Infantry Regiment, were an African American military unit that served in World War I. Despite facing discrimination and segregation in the United States, the Hellfighters distinguished themselves on the battlefield in Europe. They spent more time in combat than any other American unit, and their bravery and tenacity earned them respect from both allies and enemies. The Hellfighters were especially renowned for their heroism during the Battle of Meuse-Argonne, where they successfully captured important enemy positions despite heavy resistance.

The Harlem Hellfighters' significance transcends their military achievements. Their service challenged racial stereotypes and paved the way for greater acceptance of African Americans in the military. Their valor helped to inspire the Harlem Renaissance, a cultural and intellectual movement that celebrated African American identity and creativity. The Hellfighters' contributions to World War I and their struggle for equality at home left an indelible mark on both Black and American history, highlighting the resilience and courage of African American soldiers in the face of adversity.

  • A Culture Vulture Free Zone

Look, we're all for inclusion and the diverse celebration of Black History. However, it has become increasingly common for NON Black-owned companies to sell Black Culture while also falsely claiming to be Black-owned. This practice of cultural appropriation is not only dishonest but also disrespectful to the Black community. By profiting off of Black culture without actually supporting or empowering Black-owned businesses, these companies perpetuate systemic inequality and contribute to the erasure of Black voices and perspectives. It is important for consumers to do their research and support authentic Black-owned businesses that prioritize social justice, equity, and circulation of the Black dollar; rather than those that simply capitalize on the latest cultural trends.
