I went through probably 35 to 40 years of my life without ever hearing about Greenwood, or Emmet Till or Black Wall Street as a white person, and when I did, I was shocked and I grieved.

I hope by wearing this T-shirt, people who aren't aware of this country's full history will ask questions and learn something about Black History, about the contributions to democracy that would not exist for anyone, regardless of race or **** or gender, in this country if not for the activism and contributions of African Americans. We would never truly know anything about ourselves as a nation... The good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly.
