The Incredable History!

Black soldiers in both World War I and World War II faced significant challenges due to racial discrimination within the U.S. military. Despite these obstacles, units like the Harlem Hellfighters emerged as symbols of courage and resilience. The Harlem Hellfighters, officially known as the 369th Infantry Regiment, distinguished themselves on the Western Front in WWI, spending more time in combat than any other American unit. Their bravery earned them recognition, including awards from the French government.

The contributions of Black soldiers in WWI and WWII are integral to American history, challenging racial prejudices and paving the way for civil rights advancements. Their sacrifices highlighted the contradiction of fighting for freedom abroad while facing discrimination at home. The bravery of units like the Harlem Hellfighters not only aided in Allied victories but also sparked conversations about equality within the United States, laying the foundation for the Civil Rights Movement. Their legacy serves as a reminder of the resilience and determination of African Americans in the face of adversity, inspiring future generations to strive for justice and equality.

  • A Culture Vulture Free Zone

Look, we're all for inclusion and the diverse celebration of Black History. However, it has become increasingly common for NON Black-owned companies to sell Black Culture while also falsely claiming to be Black-owned. This practice of cultural appropriation is not only dishonest but also disrespectful to the Black community. By profiting off of Black culture without actually supporting or empowering Black-owned businesses, these companies perpetuate systemic inequality and contribute to the erasure of Black voices and perspectives. It is important for consumers to do their research and support authentic Black-owned businesses that prioritize social justice, equity, and circulation of the Black dollar; rather than those that simply capitalize on the latest cultural trends.
